Q. How long have you been in business?

A. We started company in 1992 and have been in business since 15 years.

Q. Where is your office located?

A. The corporate office and production centre of Hi-Tech is located in Ahmedabad. The city is approximately 300 miles north of Mumbai (Bombay). The second production center is in Cochin which is approximately 700 miles south of Mumbai.

Q. How big is your city (Ahmedabad)?

A. Ahmedabad is commercial capital of state of Gujarat and is considered as major commercial center. The city has a population of more then 5 million. It is considered as the 5th most preferred city in India for IT Enabled services. (Source, Nasscom report)

Q. Are there international flights available to your city?

A. Yes. From US West Coast , Singapore Air and Malaysian Air flies to Ahmedabad whereas Air India flies from US East coast directly to Ahmedabad. Other then this, if you are flying to Mumbai or Delhi then there are several daily flights from these to Ahmedabad.

Q. What are your normal working hrs?

A. We normally work round the clock in 3 shifts and 6 days a week. However in emergency projects, we can work 7 days a week.

Q. What is the preferred means of communication? (Email, MSN, ICQ, phone, fax etc)

A. Email and Chat (MSN/Yahoo/Aol) are most preferred way. We have a US phone and Fax number also which you can call whenever required. For understanding requirements, we normally use Net Meeting, GotoMyPC etc.

Q. How do I send assignments down to you, who will I have to contact?

A. You can send assignments through e-mail or FTP. Once the project has been finalized and approved for start, we will hand over the future correspondence to one of our Directors for further contacts.

Q. Do you have an office or representative in the US or UK who can meet with us?

A. We do have representative offices in Omaha, NE (US). Our CEO also travels frequently to US and UK for meeting clients.

A. Our Clients: We have successful ongoing relationship with several US/European clients. Our motto is total client satisfaction and you can check our references to see the level of satisfaction the clients have with our work

Q. Do you have references on hand at our request?

A. Yes. We have worked for over 2000 clients and can certainly provide client references

Q. How do you charge, per hour or project?

A. It depends on the way you want it to be. We can charge on per hour or per project or per man month basis whichever is most convenient to you.

Q. Are there minimums for pricing? If so, are minimums file size, page count, etc.?

A. Our minimum billing is US$ 100. However, there are no minimums for file size, page count etc.

Q. How do we pay you?

A. We have bank accounts in US (Omaha, NE), UK (London) and India (Ahmedabad). We accept payment by Check, ACH (US only), or Wire Transfer. We are soon setting up
to accept payment via Credit Card.

Q. Can I pay through Pay pal, Western Union?

A. I am sorry, we are not setup to accept payments through Pay pal or Western Union. We prefer payment by check or by wire transfer.

Q. What are your typical payment terms?

A. The typical payment terms monthly or fortnightly depending on invoice amount. For 1-off projects below $500, we request to be paid on completion of project.

Q. Would you be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement?

A. Yes

Q. Do you have a services agreement/contract you like to use?

A. We have a standard service agreement. We are flexible and any additions and alterations if required shall be fine with us.

Q. Do you sign intellectual property agreements with US-side companies?

A. Yes, Sure. We can sign.

Q. Do you have a dedicated computer for each employee?

A. Yes, we have a dedicated computer for each employee.

Q. Has each employee taken any English competency exams? What were their scores?

A. It is our policy to recruit employees with good knowledge of English. However, we do not conduct any such exams.

Q. What steps have you taken to avoid Disaster Management?

A. We have an office at COCHIN, a beautiful city in the coastal state KERALA located at the southernmost tip of INDIA. With the successful functioning of this office we now have the following added advantages:
